"Reblog" RSS
One of the things that we kinda lose with a move to individual blogs is the ability to share content easily. Like we can still shout out cool posts we see, and we can make fun web circle graphics to link friends (i need to make one of those and put all my friends in a page together), but all of this is kinda high effort. But then I noticed a feature in the RSS reader I'm using, Tiny Tiny RSS.
Tiny Tiny RSS has a feature where you can "Publish" an article from the RSS feeds you follow. It's separate from the starred items and the really cool part is that this feed can be made public. I quickly realized that this is kinda reblogging if you are following peoples blogs with RSS. It can help share things you like and give exposure to people you might not explicitly shout-out on your page.
Anyways I thought it was neat and I added my feed to the nav bar at the top of the page. I wish there was a good way to integrate it into my main feed or display them outside of an RSS feed but its still pretty powerful. I'm not sure if other RSS feed tools have this feature or not but give it a look!
